Taka Michinoku -
is considered one of, the best cruieser weight pure wrestlers in the world.One of the only wrestlers in the world to perform a no-hands springboard top rope flying cross-body to the floor.

From the northern regions of Japan comes Taka Michinoku. Don't let his size fool you, he is one of the most dangerous Superstars in Any Federation. When in WWE Teamed with Funaki, the high-flying duo is willing to win at any cost, even if it means sacrificing their own bodies. Both Taka and Funaki have held numerous titles in organizations around the world, and TAKA was even the WWE's first Light Heavyweight Champion.


TAKA-Career History:

Trained by the Great Sasuke, Michinoku made his ring debut for the Japanese Universal Pro-Wrestling group... In 1993, moved to Michinoku Pro-Wrestling.
And Also Wrestled in New japan Pro Wrestling,On May 5, 1996, Michinoku defeated Kouji Nakagawa for FMW's
(Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling) Independent Junior Heavyweight title. He held the title nearly fourteen months... In June 1996, Michinoku and Funaki joined Dick Togo, Shiryu, and Mens Teioh in Kaientai DX, or KDX. The cliche often clashed with the likes of Super Delfin and the Great Sasuke...On December 18, 1997, Michinoku pinned Funaki for the World Junior title in Tokyo. Also in 1997 TAKA & Kaientai joined ECW...as "Blue World Order International" HE Regained the FMW Junior
Heavyweight title on August 25, 1997, relieving El Satanico of the championship.Also Taka Michinoku fought at a Pancrase event in 97 where he lost to Kei Yamamiya by Key Lock.

TAKA Joined WWF,and soon Won the WWF Light Heavyweight tournament on December 7, 1997, defeating Brian Christopher(Grand Master Sexay) in the finals to win the newly created title...At the 1998 "No Way Out," Michinoku successfully defended the WWF Light Heavyweight title against Pantera.
then At Wrestlemania XIV in Boston, Michinoku pinned Aguila (Essa Rios) to retain the WWF Light Heavyweight title. In March 1998, Kaientai DX joined the WWE. The original WWF group consisted of Funaki, Togo, and Teioh...And Then Soon TAKA Rejoined The group Being managed by Yamaguchi-San.
Yamaguchi-San's wife was revealed as TAKA's sister, which was a work... A short time later, Michinoku was out of the group, and feuded with his former comrades.At the 1998 King of the Ring, Michinoku and the Headbangers defeated Kaientai in a six-man tag match.Also The Oddities and Kaientai feuded in the summer of 1998..Then The WWF Let ECW Borrow TAKA..TAKA Michinoku pinned Papi Chulo (Essa Rios) at ECW's Cyberslam '99. And After the brief stint with ECW,He returned to the WWF in 1999 and re-united with Funaki...Teioh And Dick Togo Left Becasue of being Missed Used.

TAKA And Funkai Were KaiEnTai From Then on,and Got The Great EVIL-Indeed Gimmic, For Some Time TAKA & Funaki Got Very popular there T-Shirts were the highest selling WWF Product for some time.Soon later tho they were just Fighting on the Saturday & Sunday shows Jakked,Metal,Heat,& Shotgun. TAKA Continued to wrestle untill his Shoulder was injured,And he took a leave of Absence To Let his Shoulder heal.In November 2001,TAKA underwent shoulder surgery with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, AL. When His Contract Came Up To Be Renewed,There Were Japan Newspapers Saying TAKA Was Coming Back To The WWE But it was all False,To Get people To Come See His Own Wrestling Fed.
Called "Kaientai Dojo" Where he Now Wrestles And Trains Many Wrestlers.TAKA is doing Pretty Well for himslef..On March 23, 2003, Michinoku defeated Hiroyo Mutoh in a men-vs-women's match in Yokohama, Japan....Throw Out His Career Hes Wrestled in:UPW,Michinoku Pro,FMW,NJPW,ECW,Toryumon,Pancrase,
WWE,BattlArts,Zero-One,IWA,And KaiEnTai Dojo

Theres Another Rummor That TAKA is going to come back to WWE..The Story is that:Funaki And Tajiri have talked him into coming back. he is supost to Return on June of 2003.We will all Have To Wait And See IF this Happens..I hope he Does Come Becasue TAKA Has been My Favorite For some Time,He needs To Reunite With His Friends Funaki & Tajiri
